1. Fragmented Family Safety Services

   Emergency response, parental controls, device protection, location services, and security relied on separate systems, making the overall family experience difficult to unify.

2. Complex Multi-Carrier Provisioning

   Supporting multiple network options required provisioning, number porting, eSIM activation, and line-management workflows to operate consistently regardless of the underlying carrier.

3. Complicated Family Onboarding

   Setting up a multi-line family account involved number selection, porting, eSIM configuration, E911 information, payment, subscriptions, and other regulatory workflows.

4. Family Visibility & Privacy

   Parents needed visibility across family members and their safety status, while individual users still required secure personal access.

Key Features

Multi-Carrier Wireless Management

Enables families to manage wireless lines across three major U.S. network options without traditional carrier lock-in. The platform uses Amdocs ConnectX and Cyan workflows to support provisioning, number porting, eSIM activation, and line management through one consistent mobile experience.

SOS & Emergency Response

Provides integrated family-safety capabilities including panic alerts, emergency contacts, countdown workflows, safety PINs, and live emergency dispatch through Noonlight. This enables families to access emergency-response functionality directly from within the mobile application.

Parental & Screen-Time Controls

Allows parents to manage digital-safety settings for family members, including allowed websites, safety rules, member-level screen-time settings, and family protection preferences. These controls bring wireless connectivity and family digital safety into one environment.

Family Location & Member Management

Supports family groups, emergency contacts, member management, location tracking, and safety-status visibility through integrated map experiences. Parents can maintain family-level visibility while individual members continue to use secure personal access.

Device Protection

Integrates Chubb-backed device insurance and screen-replacement coverage directly into the wider family wireless experience. Device protection can therefore be managed alongside connectivity, subscriptions, and other family services rather than through a separate experience.

Travel Connectivity & Communication

The platform continues to expand with additional connectivity and protection capabilities, all currently in development: Travel eSIM for self-service eSIM provisioning and connectivity management while travelling; Travel Insurance with destination selection, quote generation, policy purchase, and one-time payment; and VoIP Calling with app-to-app and app-to-mobile-number calling, dialer, keypad, contacts, and call history.

Results & Impact

Guardian Wireless Mobility created a more unified family experience by bringing wireless services, billing, safety, location visibility, parental controls, device protection, and member management together within one mobile application. A guided 40+ screen onboarding journey simplified complex multi-line setup across plan selection, number porting, eSIM activation, E911, payments, and account configuration, while support for three major U.S. network options provided families with greater carrier flexibility through one consistent platform experience.

The platform also strengthened family protection by connecting emergency response, parental controls, location tracking, device protection, and secure member access within the wider wireless ecosystem. Its modular foundation was designed for continuous enhancement, enabling the product to expand into additional services such as Travel eSIM, Travel Insurance, VoIP Calling, and future family-focused capabilities.
